Rich Taylor, Owner and founder of Gulf to Bay Sotheby’s International Realty has been a leader in Boca Grande’s luxury real estate market since 1995. In 2003, Rich partnered to purchase Gulf to Bay Properties. As one of the earliest regional affiliates of Sotheby’s International Realty, Rich embraced the opportunity to share in the brand’s success. He became a strong advocate for its expansion into other high-end markets, helping to amplify its presence and influence. Today, Gulf to Bay Sotheby’s International Realty holds the highest market share in Boca Grande, an exclusive coastal community on Gasparilla Island off Florida’s west coast. Rich’s impact extends well beyond real estate. Deeply invested in the community, he was a founding board member of The Island School in 2000, a K–5 charter school in Boca Grande. As a father of three young daughters at the time, he recognized the importance of providing local children with access to quality education on the island. This effort has become a lasting legacy. He was involved in the development of Coral Creek Airport and its Boca Grande Jet Center, championing the facility through strategic marketing and promotion. His efforts established the airport's growth, which offers vital convenience for residents and visitors.
