Arguably the premier remaining building site on Red Mountain. This private setting provides some of the most dramatic panoramic views of Red Mountain. The New York-based No Architecture design concept includes a series of glass, stone, and timber pavilions that ascend along the slope of the lot. Like alpine peaks, each of the five pavilions extends dramatically over the natural topography to take advantage of views and southern exposure. Inside, intimacy and warmth are introduced through wood floors, ceilings, and native stone fireplaces. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glass windows extend cantilevered terraces and roof decks transparently between inside and outside. A glass courtyard is placed to allow a spiritual connection to the sky, wind, rain, and snow. Each pavilion is constructed from climate-positive mass timber, a carbon sequestering material designed to the highest net-zero and passive house energy standards to create a house that can be self-sufficient.
