Summer is right around the corner! This means there will be events almost every week in Aspen Snowmass ranging from concerts, speakers, races and plenty more. Aspen Ideas Festival – June 25-July 1 – How To Attend
For over 60 years, the Aspen Institute has been the nation's premier gathering place for leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to engage in deep and inquisitive discussion of the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times. With topics ranging from sustainability, health, energy, mindfulness, politics and much more, anyone can find speakers and events that interest them. It’s special that we get such a diverse group of intellectuals in our small mountain town. We are very excited to attend!

Aspen Music Festival – June 30-August 23 – Tickets Here
Founded in 1949, the Aspen Music Festival and School is regarded as one of the top classical music festivals in the United States, noted both for its concert programming and its musical training of mostly young-adult music students. The typical eight-week summer season includes more than 400 classical music events—including concerts by five orchestras, solo and chamber music performances, fully staged opera productions, master classes, lectures, and children’s programming—and brings in 100,000 audience members. You’ll also find music students scattered throughout town as they showcase their talent.
Bonus: Free to Attend: Snowmass Concert Series & Aspen’s Saturday Farmers Market
Starting June 16, Snowmass will be kicking off the much-anticipated FREE summer concert series with band Hot Buttered Rum. These free afternoon concerts are beloved by locals and always deliver. Just be sure to bring an umbrella because it almost always drizzles on Thursdays in the summer. Don’t ask us why! Lastly, the Saturday Farmers Market starts on June 11 and features the best in local food, clothing and wares. Start your Saturday off with a hike up Ute or Smuggler then walk into town to enjoy the market. At least that’s how we prefer to do our Saturday mornings! Happy springtime and we hope to see you soon.
February is coming to a close and spring is right around the corner, even though it definitely doesn’t yet feel like it. This week there is an awesome lineup of musical performances around town. At the Belly up, catch performances by awarding winning DJ DEADMAU5 (Joel Zimmerman), who will be preforming Thursday night, and Matoma, who will be preforming tonight. A winter performance by pianist Marc-Andre Hemelin will take place at the music tent on Thursday night. Don’t miss Ola Onabule on Friday and Saturday night at the JAS Café at The Little Nell. As always, there will also be historic pub crawls, ski tours, and Hotel Jerome tours. More snow is expected this weekend in Aspen Snowmass, which should make for an interesting Power of Four SkiMo Race on Saturday morning. Cheer on the competitors as they skin and descend 24 miles over 10,000 vertical feet from Snowmass Village to the Base of Aspen Mountain. Recreational and cultural opportunities abound this weekend in Aspen Snowmass. Enjoy the final days of February!

May was a busy real estate month for me. I closed on unit J-201 at The Gant today for $989,000. I was also proud to represent the buyer and seller of a three bedroom top floor core unit at Aspen Square in May. The unit sold for $2,050,000. No one has done more activity at both Aspen Square and The Gant the past year than me; I’m an expert on the downtown condo hotel market. I’m excited to announce two great new Aspen Square studio listings, #201 and #224. I closed 89 Ardmore Court for $2,335,000 located in East Aspen, I was happy to represent the seller. I am currently ranked top ten in the Roaring Fork Valley for Real Estate sales, with over $23,000,000 sales. Call or email me with questions; I’m here full-time and ready to help you. Have a great weekend!
